WHAT IT IS
The values shared by Mainers foster a distinct culture of support and collaboration, rather than competition. Shop Talk Maine was created to build on that spirit by providing a more consistent way for the manufacturing community to stay connected beyond larger industry events — a space to support one another, exchange ideas, and stay in tune with what’s happening across the industry.
This initiative has two parts:
🔹 In-person meetups — monthly gatherings focused on relevant topics, peer discussion, and relationship-building within the local manufacturing community.
🔹 A Slack community — an always-on space to connect between events, ask questions, share resources, and continue the conversations that matter most to Maine manufacturing.
